The only thing you need, to know your soil composition with high resolution, is your computer with internet access.
Currently, the traditional method for soil sampling requires soil samples extraction on the field. The samples are mixed in order to average the measurement. More responsible farmers mix the samples from 1 ha, however, it is also not unusual to mix the samples from the area up to 4 ha. The set of chemical elements which are detected during the standard laboratory test is as follows: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P2O5), potassium (K2O), magnesium (Mg) and value of pH.
Detect the composition of the element
Each of the chemical elements has its own unique emission spectrum. By using the hyperspectral camera, which allows to observing the spectrum in very narrow channels, it is possible to detect the composition of the element.
Using remote sensing, in particular satellite technology, we can detect the soil composition with 30m accuracy.
